Chesa Calderas - ÖV Inklusive

The Chesa Calderas is situated at the entrance to the Bevertal in a quiet, sunny location. The attic flat, furnished with great attention to detail, is located on the top floor. Those who reach the fourth floor are rewarded with a wonderful view. The staircase is a little narrow, there is no lift. The flat offers space for 4 people. Use of the lockable garage and an outdoor car park, ski room and WLAN access are included in the flat rent.

Equipment of the individual rooms: Kitchen: Open-plan kitchen. The new, well-equipped cooker leaves nothing to be desired for delicious dishes. Oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, fondue, raclette, toaster. Living room: sofa, dining table, TV. 
Bedroom: 2 bedrooms with two single beds each Bathroom: Toilet, bath, shelf for towels, washbasin with mirror, hairdryer. Entrance area: Open cloakroom. 
Surroundings: Central location, close to railway and bus station and shopping facilities (Volg shop). Coop / Migros and Aldi are in Samedan. If you would like to eat out, you will find restaurants and cafés in Bever. The cross-country ski trail and signposted bike tours are close to the house. The golf course in Samedan and the valley station of the Celerina/Marguns cable car can be reached by car or bus in 10 minutes.

Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Three flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family-friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.

Location description: This bewitching Engadin village offers an idyllic base for family holidays. Its charm is hard to resist: visitors encounter nothing but tranquility and nature. Located in the heart of the high valley of the Engadin, Bever is celebrated for its story-telling traditions – indeed, the whole village looks like an open picture-book, with its enchanted hideaways, its tiny windows sunk deep into mighty façades, and its natural sculptures of ice hanging from roofs and flights of steps. Overlooking all this is the mighty renovated church spire, piercing the blue sky and with its bells marking the passage of time, which seems to move a little more slowly here than elsewhere.
