TWO APARTMENTS IN THE SAME TIPYCAL, STONE BUILDING. THE HOUSE IS IN THE ETNA HILL AT ABOUT 1000 METERS ASL WITH GREAT PANORAMA OVER THE SEE AND THE MOUNTAIN. THE APARTMENTS CAN ALSO BE PUT IN CONNECTION.

Typical Etna house at about 900 meters above the see. Wonderful view over the sea and the mountain. The best site to enjoy black lava coast and to return in a calm, beautiful site. Owners know very well their country and are happy to walk with guests to discover Etna. Little relax pool (6x4 meters) to enjoy countryside coming back from tourist visites. In the house there are now one bathroom for each sleeping room upstairs and another one downstairs. Perfect for group of friends or for two families.

    “Boligen er beliggende i et fint naturområde uden turister med udsigt ned over kystlandet og dets små vulkantoppe. Der er gode spadsereture i nærheden. Vejen til huset er smal og til dels ujævn, men absolut farbar. Huset er ikke præget af luksus, men fungerer udmærket. Opholds-, soverum og badeværelser var rene og pæne; man kunne dog have gjort sig lidt større anstrengelser i køkkenet, hvis udstyr også var noget sparsomt.

    Der er en vidunderlig tagterrasse og en udmærket, lille svømmepøl. Værten er særdeles forekommende, hjælpsom og informativ. Der er et glimrende, lokalt spisested i nærheden med yderst rimelige priser. Stedet kan især anbefales til gæster, der ønsker at nyde naturen i fred og ro .”

    “Rustikales Haus in sehr guter Lage mit Blick über Catania auf das Meer sowie auf den Monte Ilice. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits des Ortes, ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig (Anfahrt über etwas holprige Straßen). Das Grundstück ist groß und verfügt über einen Pool!

    Von hier aus erreicht man mit dem Auto die gesamte Küstenregion Ost-Siziliens. Auch für Wanderungen ist das Haus ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt (liegt auf 900m Höhe).

    Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist der Kontakt zum Vermieter, der uns ein sachkundiger und begeisterter Führer durch die Ätna-Region war.”

    “Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce logement. L'intérieur est très bien équipé pour 8 personnes. C'est très agréable, spacieux et propre. Un extérieur qui est magique la nuit avec sa magnifique vue, sa grande pergola, sa piscine et son calme. Le must est l'accueil très convivial. Les propriétaires nous ont transmis des précieuses informations de randonnées, de sorties à ne pas manquer dans le parc naturel de l'Etna. Ils nous ont même organisé une balade de 3 heures de lieux incontournables pour connaitre le parc et ainsi mieux apprécier cette montagne vivante. C'était un grand régal. Merci à Giuseppe et Marta pour votre disponibilité, votre générosité et votre gentillesse.”

    “Un gîte de très bon standing (grandes pièces, très bien agencées et très propres) dans un cadre magnifique avec très belle vue et avec un plus non prévu, une piscine. Un accueil très chaleureux avec la volonté du propriétaire de partager son amour de la Sicile et du volcan l'Etna. Il nous a donner de bons conseils de promenades et beaucoup d'informations sur la région.”

    “Ligging van het huis is uniek. Interieur normaal. Keukengerei: wat rommelig, niet echt schoon. Ontvangst zonder meer goed. Het laatste gedeelte van de weg (SP 174) is heel slecht; kuilen, heel slecht wegdek. Niet aan te raden met een wagen vol bagage en 3/4 personen. Geldt ook voor de ingang achter het hek. Behoorlijk hoogte verschil, waardoor de voorkant van de auto over de grond schuurde (kan gewoon verholpen worden, door terrein bij de ingang op te hogen). Juist omdat de ligging zo schitterend is en je een mooi uitzicht hebt op de zee, mis je wat comfortabele ligstoelen (houten stoelen bij een tafel is mooi om te eten, maar niet om eens lekker uit te rusten of te lezen).”

    “Thanks for your suggestions. Now we also have a small pool with sun beds for relax ! The public road is partly under reconstruction by the municipality and the work will be completed by the end of september , in any case it is about a kilometer and half to go at low speed”
