Living Area - Garden Terrace
The luxurious suite flat (60 m2) has a large, comfortable and tastefully furnished living area that is flooded with light through the panoramic windows. The sliding glass doors lead directly to an absolutely private, romantic and very well-kept palm garden (80 m2) with a breathtaking view over the lake and the mountains. The garden terrace is laid with Ticino granite slabs and equipped with garden furniture made of fine wood, and is ideal for lingering, enjoying, or for a private dinner for two. The large old cedars in front of the terrace (beautifully illuminated at night) round off the incredibly beautiful view of the sunsets, the Ticino mountains and Lake Lugano. A modern lighting design has been installed in the garden, transforming it into a nocturnal light spectacle.

The sleeping area (comfortable double bed, high standard, 180 x 200 cm) is partially separated from the living area by a small wall. When you wake up in the morning, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and Castagnola's most romantic garden directly from your bed. The dining area is equipped with a designer kitchen with state-of-the-art technology and is ideal for gourmet cooking.

The spacious designer bathroom is made of exquisite materials: the floor and walls are lined with fine marble, the shower and WC areas are separate and the room is equipped with a walk-in wardrobe.
Our guests have separate private access to the suite flat and a car park directly in front of the 2-storey building on a small romantic private road (very little traffic); on the 1st floor of the house is the owners' holiday flat, and directly below is the suite flat with its own garden.

Facilities: The suite flat has a flat screen TV with cable connection, blue-ray video system, high-speed WLAN Internet access and access to a fully equipped laundry room.

The neighbourhood:
This unique newly renovated luxury flat is located in the exclusive district of Lugano-Castagnola, about 1km from Villa Favorita (former exhibition venue of the famous Thyssen-Bornemisza art collection). It is located at the foot of Monte Bré, "the sunniest mountain in Switzerland", 50 metres from Lake Lugano, with a magnificent panoramic view of the lake and the majestic Mount San Salvatore. It is located at the beginning of the well-known idyllic footpath along the lakeshore to Gandria, a picturesque and historic border village to Italy (3km; 30min walk), past the beautiful and well-kept lido "San Domenico" (10min walk) and some romantic restaurants directly on the lakeshore, which are ideal for a nice dinner for two.

The centre of Lugano is approx. 3 km away, the bus stop (400 m, bus every 10 minutes); furthermore, the landing stage for the scheduled boats is only 100 m away, ideal for round trips on Lake Lugano, on which you can visit countless picturesque villages (such as Morcote, Melide, Caprino, Bissone, Porlezza/Italy, etc) and also get to the casino in Campione d'Italia. The famous Lago di Como can be reached in just 30 minutes by car, and other beautiful tourist places such as Bellaggio, Menaggio, Como, etc. can be visited on the Italian shores of Lake Como.
