This holiday apartment offers a spacious floor plan over two floors. The interior is stylishly selected, nicely decorated and partly panelled with wood, the holiday apartment Chalet Bühl leaves nothing to be desired.
The apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with a single bed. If you step out onto the balcony early in the morning, you will start the day with a stunning view of the mountains.
The idyllic village of Habkern lies in the Bernese Oberland on the border with the Emmental. Thanks to its remoteness, many traditions have been preserved in Habkern's everyday life. Interlaken, the starting point for boat trips on the beautiful Lake Brienz or Lake Thun, is only about 15 minutes away by car. Well-known skiing and hiking areas such as Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen can also be easily reached via Interlaken. The Jungfraujoch can also be visited by train directly from Interlaken.
The cities of Lucerne and Berne are both around an hour's drive away, but you can also easily reach both cities from Interlaken with direct train connections through the beautiful Swiss countryside.
The Luegibodenstein 5000 cubic metres of granite, which has been a nature reserve for over 100 years, further enriches the Habkern area. In 1852, a piece of the granite block was sent to America as a gift from Switzerland for the Washington Monument.
Habkern offers its guests 3 restaurants, a café and a bakery with other foodstuffs.

Summer
In summer and autumn, you can relax on extended hikes such as the Alp Chromatte or Hellboden circular hiking trail with views over Lake Thun (also a winter hiking trail) or an excursion to the Grünenberg Pass with views over the Eriz Valley.
Stroll through the unspoilt countryside and visit the Alp Heubühlen cheese dairy. A bike tour to the Grünenberg Pass or a swim in the outdoor pool in Habkern (open from June to September).
Not forgetting the popular excursion destinations nearby. Visit the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, which is only a 90-minute drive away, or take a trip to the Beatushölen or the impressive Aare Gorge near Meiringen.

Winter
In winter, the small ski area of Habkern-Sattelegg with ski lift awaits you. Well-known ski areas such as Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Kleine Scheidegg or the Brienzer Rothorn can be reached in about 1 hour. Take a snowshoe hike to Lombachalp or enjoy a winter hike to Hellboden with views over the snow-covered winter landscape of Lake Thun.
For stormy days, visit the Werkstube or the local museum in Habkern.
In Interlaken you will find other bad-weather activities such as a bowling alley or a casino.
